How delightful that we can rest in the surety that God is love and incomparable in Most High status. How wonderful that the Father gave us Christ, the Word who was made flesh. Yes, how grateful we are that Christ is the mediator of a better covenant. Hebrews 8:6 – KJV But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

We enter a resource of plentiful truths. Inside are brilliant treasures. Splendid views are arranged in precious order. Lessons are stacked in rhythm with the past, present and future. We’re enveloped in love, encouragement, inspiration, hope, justice and plenty more to aid in our challenging journeys. Water is here. Trees, plants and mountains are here. Animals, homes, jewels, fruits and bread are here — oh my! The spread of delights enrich us immensely. Where have we entered? What is this resource? The Bible that, for ages, has aided in our awareness of God, Jesus, and the ways of righteousness. Yes, contained in it are manifold, magnificent offerings and treasured lessons — authored by the Master of love, the SOURCE, Most High God, who lovingly gave us Jesus, the bread of life. John 6:48 – KJV I am that bread of life. Hebrews 10:7 – KJV Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

We have seasons when the noises of life aim to distract and to dislodge us from our solid rock stances in the truths of the Lord. The mental “chatter” can be unsettling if we allow it to interfere with the peace that passes all understanding. The “valves” can sure be shut off by the knowledge of, and acting upon the gospel truths. Noise isn’t the master. How do we choose to handle it? Let us count the ways — beginning with God and the words of Christ . . . Yes, it’s a certainty that we can mount up with wings . . . Psalm 93:4 – KJV The Lord on high is mightier than the noise . . . Isaiah 40:31 – KJV But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

God is the author of love. Only God can so superbly do it and teach it. Love has manifold facets. It can cause “volcanic eruptions” that set our hearts on fire. Yes, flame “injections” — compliments of love. Caring displays of affection do wonders at the right moments. Emotional solutions can soothe weary souls. The presence of love speaks and answers in countless ways. It’s not a bit player. Our Creator has made it a star on His stage. Song of Solomon 8:7 – KJV Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: . . .

How about having “friendships” with hope? Life delivers “packages” that come with uncertainties. God provides hope anyhow. We can choose to allow life to buckle our knees or we can cling to hope, which is way better than stress choices. Yes, hope relieves, encourages and calms. God’s the author of it, and its medicine for our souls. Hope is one of many “prescriptions” written by our Lord . . . the Master of what’s healthy. Yes, hope works effectively when we elect to swallow and digest it — as prescribed. Hebrews 6:19 – KJV Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, . . .

For many folks, who, overall, live in constant solitude, loneliness can be a beast that grips their hearts. The elderly and shut ins readily come to mind. Also, especially sorrowful can be those who are typically surrounded by people but loneliness is still often in residence within them. My thoughts go, too, to the many lonely wives and husbands. They have spouses but the marital disconnects have become so large that they often feel alone. The reasons for loneliness vary. How wonderful that our Lord always has remedies and “repair kits” available. We can believe that matters are insurmountable but we can sure snap out of such false beliefs. God is a present love, comfort and help in the midst of everything. Christ is the cure for maladies small and great. Truly, there’s nothing too hard for the Most High and Christ. Psalm 18:2 – KJV The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and theContinue reading »

We can soar over the challenges when we remain mindful that God is able to keep us, secure us, protect us, and to sustain us through it all. Nahum 1:7 – KJV The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

No matter what the circumstance, You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalms 139:14). Do not let anyone or anything deceive you in thinking you are anything less.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
