New Beginnings

Once again, the Lord has blessed us with another year. Yes, more opportunities to be thankful, productive and helpful. It’s precious indeed to be gifted with more time to live for the glory of God. We have so much to be grateful for as we continue our lives. High and jubilant praises to the Lord, Most High.

Some folks have relocated. Others have given birth to new lives. Yes, adorable babies have entered families. Job changes have happened for select people. Adventures of all sorts are on the horizon. Expectations are ripe.

The joy of the Lord is our strength. “. . . for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10- KJV. Truly, his grace is sufficient for us. “. . . My grace is sufficient for thee: . . .” – 2 Corinthians 12:9 – KJV.

This time of year lots of folks make resolutions about weight loss, exercise plans, eating healthier, ceasing to procrastinate, etc. One great purpose of pursuing is to keep God first this year and way beyond. Dedication to holiness fuels our “engines,” lifts our hearts, and strengthens our minds and bodies. Yes, prioritizing is essential to thrive as godly people who delight the Lord.

How can we best please God? How can we best help others by caring, sharing and doing love in actions? In what ways can we improve ourselves, our lives and the lives of others? Certainly, those are things to sincerely ponder and to seek the Lord for in earnestness. Wisdom from God is the best. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 4:7 – KJV, these words, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

We look forward to more ways to live full lives with the abundance that’s so generously provided by Christ. “. . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10-KJV.
