Sorrow came to our spaces but we know it’s a temp. Oh, what a relief to have that awareness. Sadness has a role in our journeys so we’re mindful that sorrow will fill its appointments, and that’s okay.

How long will sadness stay? Our Lord holds the time card on that play. We nestle in the comfort of truth that sorrow is temporary, and won’t elevate to the status of permanence. Yes, grief has a place, but when we’re anchored in Christ, it can’t uproot our positions in righteous security, safety and calm.

Psalm 42:5 – KJV

Why art thou cast down, O my soul: and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
