A word of encouragement for those mothers doubting themselves:

The Lord chose you to be their mother. It is a part of your purpose, your design, God’s plan. You are not like other mothers. And that’s okay. You are not perfect. He designed you that way, so you would have to lean on Him for support. You don’t have to try to figure it all out alone.

For those of you who have grown children you are concerned about, I feel ya. I have one as well. Just know that the Lord loves them, too. He knows your heart’s desire concerning your child. I know it is hard to see them walking aimlessly and blind. The pain can be unreal at times. This is definitely a time when you need to “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

This is real life. It’s not just a bunch of words that I’m writing. You can have peace. He promised us peace “that surpasses understanding.” For those who have lost their joy, you can have joy again. You must realize that there is no one greater than the God you serve, your Heavenly Father! Nothing is impossible for Him!

Our children will see the light! As it says in Proverbs, “…the descendants of the righteous will be delivered.”

Just trust and believe. Pray for me and if you’d like, I will pray for you. Be encouraged my sisters…
